SC21 Performance Standard Criteria
The award process has been developed by the SC21 community to ensure that there is a simple, standard approach to recognise improving performance.
Organisations successfully achieving, and maintaining, agreed criteria in terms of delivery, quality, sustainable improvement and the associated improvement frameworks will receive recognition in the form of a bronze, silver or gold standard and a certificate will be issued.
Implementing these aspects of development and performance achieves a benefit to all parties in the areas of competitiveness, enhanced customer perception and lower internal costs. They also reflect the exacting requirements of some of the major aerospace and defence organisations worldwide.
All submissions are reviewed by an independent approval board, and successful companies receive a formal certificate and national recognition. We run industry events throughout the year where award winners have the opportunity to attend, and be presented with, their awards.
SC21 Performance Standard Process
Recognition can occur only after the criteria for all elements of the SC21 framework have been meet. This is evidenced through the completion and submission of a Performance Standard Submission report that is then reviewed by an Industry Approval Board (IAB).

As part of our ongoing data collection mechanism improvements, we are now seeking for all participants to provide an annual update.
